Generally, most of the trade books about safety education for children just use some sentences and illustrations to introduce the event.
But children would easily get bored and cannot learn much from these kinds of books. Our teaching aids help to promote children’s cognition and keep dangerous events from happening.
To show the definition of safety, to prevent events from happening, and to protect self are the main contents of this topic.
There are three themes─ being lost, sexual assault and kidnaping to design this series.
這套教具主要教學目標：
教導孩子認識、如何應用安全教育。 Instruction goal:
Teaching children understand and know how to apply safety education. 每主題單一：組合有一本繪本書、一本安全照護照、一片CD 1.繪本書：
用故事性串連整件事件，圖畫是用事件的發生過程繪製 ，一頁一頁的詳細繪製及說明，（可以整本故事教學，也可一頁一頁單獨教學）再配合故事及每頁的安全提示語，可讓孩子更能認識安全教育提高親子間的學習興趣。 2.兒童安全教育護照：
孩子認識基本安全教育！但我們更要教育孩子怎樣防護自己，這本安全教育護照，設計每一頁繪本的圖畫，配上每一單元來加強孩子的安全訓練教育，引導孩子相關的安全活動，共配合繪本書有15單元，每單元都可增加孩子的安全上的知識，更能增加親子互動。 3.CD：
我們用廣播劇的方式承現，導讀這本書的內容，讓孩子更有身歷其境的感覺，更能加深自身安全的重要。時時提醒孩子注意安全。所有的孩子真的很喜歡這樣聽故事。 Features:
Each theme has a set─ a picture book, a guiding manual and a piece of CD
Picture book:
We use stories to show the whole event, and use the process of the stories to design all the pictures, with detailed explanation in each page. By means of the stories and reminding sentences, children can understand much more about safety education, and it can also increase the learning interest between parents and children. Guiding manual:
We design some training activities to enhance children’s ability of protecting themselves. Each manual has 15 activities which coordinate with 15 pages of each picture book. We hope our children can learn right methods to protect themselves. CD:
We use the way of “radio play” to introduce the book, making children have the feeling of virtually being in the story. It makes children understand the importance of self-safety, and all the children love to listen to these kinds of stories.

＊帶領孩子認識身體的器官
＊不要和大人單獨去一個隱密的地方etc. 《百貨公司遇險記》
＊約定走失後見面的地點
＊不要靠近陌生人車子
＊在街上盡量設法逃到人多之處或商店中
＊一旦被挾持,千萬不要驚慌etc. 《馬桶上的一枚指紋》
＊了解學校和住家的地理環境
＊決不抄近路而行經荒僻或黑暗的街道
＊告訴孩子陌生人的明確定義
＊如發現可疑的人，應立即告知父母etc. There are “reminding sentences” in each guiding manual.
